December 27, 2023:
Hillsborough County, Florida – A precautionary boil water notice is being issued by Hillsborough County Water Resources to some consumers of the HCPUD Northwest drinking water system.
In certain sections of the County’s water distribution system, the minimum water pressure fell below the legally allowed level as a result of a water main break.
As a result, Hillsborough County’s Department of Health mandates the issuance of a precautionary boil water advisory.

Customers are urged to boil all tap water before using it for cooking, drinking, creating ice, brushing their teeth, or doing the dishes as a precaution after seeing this notification. It only takes a minute to bring water to a rolling boil; let it cool before using.
